Absolute Poker Player Reporting

Export Player Stats into Excel Format for Easy Importing into Rakeback Manager

When you register as an Absolute Poker Affiliate, you will receive a username and password that will give you access to your player stats. The player stats can be downloaded in Excel format, which most affiliates can easily handle (some card rooms also provide player stats in XML and PDF format as well). If you don't have Excel installed on your PC, you can download and install the FREE Excel viewer from Microsoft, or an even better solution is to download and install the OpenOffice package from OpenOffice.org (an excellent alternative to Microsoft Office and won't cost you anything).

After you login, click the "Customers" link in the left sidebar to get to the reporting system, select "Excel" and the reporting period (from the 1st up to the current day) and click the "Generate" button. An Excel spreadsheet will be generated containing the player stats of all your members. Typically, this report when downloaded will automatically pop up a dialog box to save or view the spreadsheet. I generally select the view spreadsheet option rather than going through the steps required to save a file. Here is an example of what the raw exported stats look like when viewed using Excel (please note that the images shown are purposely not readable for privacy reasons):

To import the player stats into Rakeback Manager, there are only two columns that you will be interested in: the columns marked "Screen Name" and "Poker Revenue". Using Excel, I simply highlight and delete all columns except the two I want to use. Also, I delete the heading row and bottom "total" row from the spreadsheet.

absolute poker edited raw stats exampleSave the edited Excel spreadsheet to a folder that you can easily find later and create a file name that includes the date the stats were exported and the card room to which the stats belong. I use a simple naming convention such as desktop/affiliates/ub/2008-aug-14.csv (be sure to save the file as a CSV because a CSV file is text but an XLS file is binary and you do not want to upload a binary file into Rakeback Manager).

After saving the edited spreadsheet, login to Rakeback Manager using your administrative account, go the admin panel and click the Card Room Manager icon, which will take you to a list of your card rooms. In the "Actions" column click the "Room Stats->Upload" option where you will select the edited CSV that you saved. When you click the "Upload" button, your stats will be uploaded and your members will have immediate access to their stats.
